Tot Siens, Koning Arthur | Chapter 25: Wat kan ek sê? | English Summary

Tot Siens, Koning Arthur deur Annelie Ferreira

Wat kan ek sê?

Sylvia and Fransie are watching Toy Story 3. Sylvia and her mother went to see the principal (at different times). The principal said that he would take Sylvia back at the school. Fransie is now wearing a doctor’s coat and stethoscope (given to him by Doctor Fourie). The charges against Sylvia are to be withdrawn - she told the doctor this. Elzahn shows Sylvia an envelope that she received. Inside the envelope was a sheet of blue paper and three packs of bank notes - it’s from Elzahn’s mother (Sylvia’s grandmother). On the blue paper was a message thanking Elzahn for the photos and notes of Sylvia. The message says that the R3000 is for Sylvia’s 18th birthday - she must use it for her studies. Elzahn cries after hearing the message. Sylvia is happy that she has heard from her grandmother - for the first time ever.

Sylvia and Matthew are drinking smoothies at the Plaaskombuis. It’s morning and they’re completely alone. Sylvia and Matthew kiss. Sylvia says that she is applying for medical school and completing matric this year. Sylvia says that she’s in for the “long haul” and Matthew then says that he wants to play Bridge overseas anyway. Sylvia questions Matthew about Bridge - this is a turn around from her distaste of Bridge earlier in the story. At the end of the chapter, they kiss again.
