Eckhardt and Greg explore the Lawson College Memorial Museum, an ironically forgettable building on Lawson’s campus. Greg is caught in thought as the exploration with Eckhardt reminds him of John. They find an installation dedicated to Greg’s brother, something he is seeing for only the second time since his tenure at Lawson began. Featuring photos and assorted objects related to John’s various achievements, the memorial is an expression of the brotherhood John experienced in his time at Lawson College. Greg thinks about the various memories sprawled all over the installation, thinking that none of the photos can capture nor communicate the fact that brotherhood cannot exist through death; however, he is comforted somewhat by Eckhardt’s concerned face reflected in the glass encasing the exhibit.
