They sit in Eckhardt’s room as he commands Greg to visit hackthissite.org, a place where individuals can learn the basics of hacking safely. Greg creates an account with the display name “G-4 ce” and sets out to do the very first challenge presented by the site: “The Idiot Test”. The goal is to figure out the password and input it in the bar provided to gain entry to the other parts of the site. Greg struggles with this challenge, so he visits the various forums for beginners that are available on the website before researching HTML and related topics. After reading up for several hours and still having no luck with the website, Eckhardt arrives in Greg’s room with a few tips.
