Eckhardt gives Greg “the mother of all challenges” – hacking into the website of an online franchise without any help. Greg declines at first because he is worried about being caught; however, Eckhardt convinces him in a way that reminds him of the way John used to get him to participate in new extreme sports. Eckhardt manipulates Greg into believing that what they are doing is not as bad as it sounds because they will not be doing anything with the information, so he eventually gives in. Eckhardt tells Greg to remember the amazing feeling that he gets when he gets somewhere with his hacking – the buzz that one feels after breaking into the firewall.
